The weather is finally starting to feel like summer (even though tomorrow is supposed to be cold again) which means lots and lots of barbeque's....so I thought I would share a favorite recipe that is perfect for all those get-together!
I'm so excited that I finally get to post these beauties....
Back in April when I posted my Easter tags that I made for the girls Easter baskets I received a comment from a fellow blogger asking me if I would be interested in making some pendant's for her daughters wedding. I was super excited and super nervous that I was making something for someone that I have never met and that it was going to be for her wedding day, and in my book that's a pretty big day. So the pressure was on.
She pretty much just old me the colors of the wedding and that they wanted them very vintage......
I love how they all turned out, I wanted to keep them for myself, but I sent them to her.
The wedding is in July and I asked Valarie to send me some pictures. I cant wait to see the wedding and all the beautiful pendant's that I made!!
Since I got my new camera I love taking pictures, more than I did before. But I don't have photo shop...I sure wish I did though. I usually just play around on Picnik. Does anyone have any other sites that they HEART!
Tomorrow is Lillies last day of school. Which I'm so looking forward to. No more going to bed early, taking baths at night, doing hair in the morning, eating breakfast, getting dressed in cute clothes.... Just kidding... sorta!
I just cant wait for summer to start.... sleeping in, going swimming, staying outside until dark before we have to come in, HOT weather most of all!
OK, now that I got that off my chest here is what we got for Mrs. Homer. A perennial plat that hopefully she will plant in her yard and think of Lillie and what a great perfect student she was.hehehe! Don't I just have the best ideas ever??!!
I made a cute little Lollie flower on a stick and stuck it in the plant with a little note on the back from Lillie and I.
I would show you a picture of the dresser, but before I do let me show you my bedroom....because soon its all going to change because of one piece of furniture and some chalk paint.
Now don't get me wrong I love my bedding....... and ladies my mother made it all and soon she will be making me some more.
When I bought the dresser I wanted to put it in our bedroom and get rid of this beast.
so if you want it come and get it.
Now for the next phase of my bedroom.
I'm loving the pillows from my sofa, and yes my mother made those too. I've also had the striped fabric for a while and have never done anything with it, but soon my mom will be making something beautiful with it.
And now onto the dresser...... now don't kill me, I haven't even put the drawers back in and I still need to paint the old hardware, so until then here she is.....
I received my Annie Sloan chalk paint yesterday, put Easton down for her nap and painted my dresser and its done! Although I don't have a picture to show you yet so instead I will show you my happy face, because this paint is so awesome!! AWESOME!
