V.I.P

Tomorrow is Lillie's V.I.P at school and what mother wouldn't want to make a special treat for every kid in her class...............ME!  That's right I made 25 of these bad boys, spent some hours working on them, and I'm almost sure that every kid in her class with have the upmost respect for them and NOT throw them away.

Inside each box is a little rice crispy treat

...a little late

It seems I'm always a little late these days, but better late than never, right?  My mom reads my blog every day....as a good mother should, and like the good daughter that I'am....I made her this.  So tomorrow morning when she checks my blog............she will see this....
Happy Birthday MOM!!
My Mom is gone for the weekend, and I have a hard time waiting to give her, her presents.  Now the kicker, her birthday was in....lets say....January, but really who's counting how late I'am.
For those of you that would like to make one for your mom, here is a short and sweet tut.
First gather up your old ribbon holders, some paper, a wooden dowel and a clothes pin.
I take one of the sides of and trace a circle out of paper and then glue it back together. you can see in the picture below what I'm taking about, since I didn't take a picture of that part.  The purpose of that, is so when you are looking at it you see the pink paper and not the cardboard part.
Add some paper around the middle and then repeat the process.  It just depends on how many ribbon holders you want to use.
Add some cuteness on the top.
Take your clothes pin glue some paper on all sides, ink the edges and you are done.

My Mom has the best sewing room, and this will be perfect on her sewing table.

Thanks for looking & happy crafting!

Scrap-tastic-Thursday

I have been a huge slacker on my scrap-tastic-Thursday's.  Every Thursday I sit down and start the post and the next thing I know its Saturday night by the time I sit back down to finish it.  So I was a good girl and took some pictures with my new camera.....love it, I love it, I promise I will stop talking about it.  But the first ones that I took aren't anything like they should be, but ladies...I'm working on it.

Thanks for looking, and Happy Scrapping!

mini Album

I made this Album a while ago.......probably 3 yrs ago, but I'm walking around my house and talking pictures of stuff and playing with my camera, and I have never posted on this before.... so why not.
Lillie was almost two in these pictures, look at her hair,
she has way more hair than Easton does at that age, but its was never curly like that either, we just curled her hair that day for the pictures.

And look at her now.....she is all grown up!
