{Hot Chocolate}

Yesterday we got a tiny bit of snow and of course the girls wanted to go outside and play in it.  I didn't take any pictures of them in the snow playing.  {way to cold for me to go outside} I waited until they came in to drink some hot chocolate!

I also got a new lenses that I'm just in love with!

Sledding

A couple of weeks ago we got a ton of SNOW!  So we took the girls sledding.  It was Easton's first time and she just loved it.  We haven't been able to go again....there as been no SNOW!

{December Daily}

Well Hello there, its been awhile!
For the past several years I have oohhhed and aahhhed over the amazingly talented, ali edwards, and her December daily project.  I have never participated in the project before, but the other day I was on  Pinterest and I was noticing all the December Daily pinning that was going on.  Now mind you, this was the other day, like November 29, and most people who do this project have there's done by December first, but me, not so much.  But I did start mine and I already have 9 pages done.  I'm planning on using most of my instagram pictures that I will have printed at Persnickety Prints Prints.....they are just awesome!

For the cover I just took a book that I bought at the Dollar store and with a knife cut the cover and the back off and then punched holes for the book rings.  Hopefully I will have it done sooner than later!!

Halloween Decor

My Halloween Decor is lacking the spookiness, according to Lillie.
After I put everything up Lillie asked me if I was going to decorate for Halloween.... darn these kids....they are too honest.
I made two new, not so spooky Halloween decorations.

I made it out of coffee filters that I "tea died", but instead of using tea bags, I used coffee bags. Paper dollies, ribbon, and straws.  I just strung it on some wire.  I used three bags of coffee filters on this one.  You could totally add more.  I also hung bats that I already had.

The next one I saw at Swiss Days and I loved them all so much, but not so much the price tag.  I have tried to find the name of the lady that made them so I can give her the proper credit, but I didn't grab a card or anything.
I pretty much had everything on hand all I bought for this was two fat quarters.

I cut out squares and triangles to make the houses and added trim, ribbon, and some lace.  For the windows I cut out more squares and then stitched around them to make them look like windows.   I then stitched the houses on the main fabric.  For the (main fabric) background I covered the class with fabric.  This was the fastest project I have ever made.

Birthday Girl

My little Easton, my "turd-ston" turned 4 today.
 She is my last baby, it makes me so sad, but I'm also so excited to see what
this crazy little girl has in store for us.

4 things that we love about this girl:
1. She makes us laugh everyday, she is so silly and she knows it.
2. She loves her big sister like nobody's business.  She counts the hours until she is home from school.
3. She will always cuddle with me when she wakes up from her naps.
4. She is my sidekick all day long, and a good one too.

Happy Birthday, Easton!!
We love you!

Scrapbooking & Instragram

I have a small obsession with instagram pictures and apparently its the new thing to scrapbook with.   So of course I jumped on the bag wagon and printed out my instagram pictures from my phone.  I highly suggest persnickety printing, they are absolutely, hands down, the BEST.  I sent my order in and the very next day I had my pics.  AWESOME!

Its all about the layering, just keep adding and adding.

Pre-School

Or "Pee-School" as Easton says it.
My baby, my last baby started pre-school last week.
She was a little worried about going to school because Lillie was not going to be there with her.  But I dropped her off and when I picked her up she loved it.  Now she is just mad that she doesn't go everyday.

Back to school Dinner

Summer is over, {insert tear here}
And what better way to celebrate going back to school then to have a
back to school dinner.  I started doing the tradition when Lillie started preschool, but this year we add more to our party.
we invited Nanny & Papa, Scott, Tallyn, Skyler and G-Ma.

We had Class Rules:

The adults had new names for the evening:

I bought the picture frames from Ikea for the kids and added a  picture of them and the grade that they are going into:

We had Class Clowns:

Lillie and Easton made the table runner out of a book,
ripping the pages out and gluing them together:

It was also Johns Birthday!
Happy Birthday to my best friend.
This is the last year in his 30's. YIKES!

Hugs,
Amber!
