Halloween Decor

My Halloween Decor is lacking the spookiness, according to Lillie.
After I put everything up Lillie asked me if I was going to decorate for Halloween.... darn these kids....they are too honest.
I made two new, not so spooky Halloween decorations.

I made it out of coffee filters that I "tea died", but instead of using tea bags, I used coffee bags. Paper dollies, ribbon, and straws.  I just strung it on some wire.  I used three bags of coffee filters on this one.  You could totally add more.  I also hung bats that I already had.

The next one I saw at Swiss Days and I loved them all so much, but not so much the price tag.  I have tried to find the name of the lady that made them so I can give her the proper credit, but I didn't grab a card or anything.
I pretty much had everything on hand all I bought for this was two fat quarters.

I cut out squares and triangles to make the houses and added trim, ribbon, and some lace.  For the windows I cut out more squares and then stitched around them to make them look like windows.   I then stitched the houses on the main fabric.  For the (main fabric) background I covered the class with fabric.  This was the fastest project I have ever made.

Hugs,
