It seems I'm always a little late these days, but better late than never, right? My mom reads my blog every day....as a good mother should, and like the good daughter that I'am....I made her this. So tomorrow morning when she checks my blog............she will see this....
Happy Birthday MOM!!
My Mom is gone for the weekend, and I have a hard time waiting to give her, her presents. Now the kicker, her birthday was in....lets say....January, but really who's counting how late I'am.
For those of you that would like to make one for your mom, here is a short and sweet tut.
First gather up your old ribbon holders, some paper, a wooden dowel and a clothes pin.
I take one of the sides of and trace a circle out of paper and then glue it back together. you can see in the picture below what I'm taking about, since I didn't take a picture of that part. The purpose of that, is so when you are looking at it you see the pink paper and not the cardboard part.
Add some paper around the middle and then repeat the process. It just depends on how many ribbon holders you want to use.
Add some cuteness on the top.
Take your clothes pin glue some paper on all sides, ink the edges and you are done.
My Mom has the best sewing room, and this will be perfect on her sewing table.
