Christmas Lights

Last night we went on the "train", really its called tracks, but the girls like to call it the train to see the lights at Temple Square.  It was Eastons first time on the train and she loved it.

 i love this picture below, my brother was trying to get Skyler in the picture and she was done, but check out my brothers face!!

 

 

 when I was trying to take the picture above, Tallyn jumped up in front of my camera, and it was perfect because I got him at the perfect moment.

needless to say, we all had fun...funny faces and all.

Christmas junk lollies

I like to call these my Christmas junk lollies.   NOT that they are junky at all!!  When I was looking at them, that is the name that came to me.  You can hang them in your tree or put them on a present or you can just look at them, because they are just so cute....I just love them....just sayin'!!

....this beauty has taken me almost three years to make, it might even be more than that, but I'm going with 3. It was a work in progress, you could say.  I would only work on it right before Christmas and then I would start something new and push it back under my table and forget about, and I always figured Lillie was to young to count anyways, but now that she is in school I figured that I would GET IT DONE!

I got the cookie sheet at the dollar store, painted it white added some paper and then the next part is what took me so long, finding and making all the different things for each number.  Not that anything on it is out of this world or anything....it just took me foreverrrrrrrrrrrr!

Christmas House

 I love when I get things done, don't you?  Here's my first Christmas house that I finished....

the "L" is for LaFata, our last name, just in case some of you are wondering, or if some of you might think its for something else.....say....like....Leana!!

Here are the cards that Leana, Marci and I made this month.  We haven't been very good about doing this.  We all have young kids, work, Halloween and I'm sure a ton of other stuff that keeps us busy.  But we all made one this month.  

Leana made the cutest, most smallest card ever!!

 

Marci made a cute little box with her NEW Cricut Imagine, lucky girl!

 and I made this card.

 All the stamps are from Stampin Up' and if you want to order anything from them, Leana would love to do that for you.

be thankful

I have completed my banner that I wanted to hang on my mantel.  I just wish I had a $4,000 camera to take better pictures.  I have been reading some stuff about my point and shoot that helps me with close ups, but I just cant seem to get those far-away-ones, but someday I will get my camera.  So for now we will just have to be thankful for what we got........

It was really easy to make, the hardest part was stringing it.  The book pages are super light so the string kept riping the paper.  I love it, and there is not a ton of stuff on the banner, which is unusual for me.   I'm just thankful that it is done and hanging!
