Halloween House, part 1

I'm loving the way the Halloween house is turning out, although it is kinda a pain so I thought I would show you what I have so far.  All the paper is form My Minds Eye, "Haunted".  Some of it is from last year.  I still have a lot of trimming to do, but Its almost 10:00 and that's when I turn into a pumpkin, plus I want the mod podge to try over night.

I can't wait for it do be done!!  Don't you just love the spiders crawling down the peeks,  eek!!  That's my favorite so far.

Crafty Goals

Do you ever just have a ton of crafty stuff that you want to make, but there is just not enough time to do it all....be mom, wife, daughter, friend, work, clean....Well that's me.  I have so much that I want to do, but I just have a hard time doing it all sometimes.  I see so much stuff out there that I want to make and there is always something else that I need to do before I can start another project.  So maybe if I take a picture of something that I really want to make and start it ASAP!!  it will get done and I can check it off my list.   So here goes, my first CRAFTY GOAL.

Goal:  Halloween House
Leana and I, once again want to make these house's.  She wants to make a christmas village and I want to make a Halloween House. we both, actually want to make both.
Date to be finished: Before October 1, 2010

Teacher Gift

What a week, I still cant believe that Lillie is in kindergarten, but she is loving every minute of it.... and so am I!  Lillie loves her teacher and a lot of people have told me how much they love her and that she is the best Teacher.  So THANK YOU Mrs. Homer for making Lillie's first week of Kindergarten GREAT!!

...On the first day of school

She started Kindergarten and I didn't even cry!  Can you believe it.... but there is a reason why I didn't.  But before I tell you about that part of it, lets start with Lillie.

Sunday night we made her favorite dinner, chicken Alfredo, salad and corn....

Easton was pretty excited too! 

 ....The big day, 

Good morning sunshine, its time to wake up and go to school... its your first day.  

I put Easton in her bed to help wake her up.

 We have bagels with cream cheese for breakfast.

Lillie was so excited, me..... not so much this is when I started to get a little nervous about sending her to school, but we all got dressed and headed outside (or should I say garage, since it was a down poor) to take pictures.

At this point I'm running a little bit late, but just Amber late, I still have like 15 minutes until school starts and it only takes us about 2 minutes to get to school.  So we hop in the car, get to school, run inside because it's still a down poor and there are moms and dads all over the place taking pictures of there cute little kiddo's.   I'm still not crying!!  So now, I'm trying to get Lillie to sit at her table so that I can get one more picture and this is when I can start to feel the tears coming,  but my little Easton is kinda being a little "terdston" as we like to call her.... all she wants to do is sit with Lillie and color, So I tell Lillie goodbye and and give her a kiss and start walking out the door.....

.....and this is why I didn't cry the whole entire day......

yes, that's right I had on two different shoes.  Yes, I went into Lillie's class room took pictures, tyred to get my loud 1 yr old to stop coloring on the tables, with two different shoes.  And that is why I never cryed.  I noticed my shoes as I was walking out of the class room and I was trying to pick up Easton.  All I could do is laugh about it, and I'm still laughing about it.  So yes, I'm going to me that mom with the two different shoes on the first day of school.

Now back to Lillie's day,

My Lillie Bugs is starting kindergarten tomorrow and I'm a mess! Not because Lillie is not excited because she can't wait for tomorrow to come. I keep asking her what she is most excited for, and her answer every-time is "to meet new friends". Hopefully I won't cry all day! I told Lillie when I pick her up from school we would go to lunch and that she could pick the place.....so we are going to subway, because "they make it your way" I love this girl!

Mason Jars, Again!

I don't know if you have noticed, but sometimes when I love something I tend to make them over and over and over, again .... like the lollies or the rolled paper flowers.  Well this time its the pin cushion mason jars.  But first let me tell you why I made some more..... Leana, Marci and I have a Stampin' Up club that we go to every month and a while back I had suggested that we make each other a card using the stuff that we ordered form Stampin' Up, but we had to use everything that we ordered on one card.  We call it the purchase and exchange or the buy and exchange, (I really can't remember what we call it, but it sounds good, right?)

....Well when I sat down to use my new stuff and to make their cards, the mason jars where staring at me to use them again..... so I did!  I made one for Leana and Marci, and myself of course using my new alphabet set.  The little birdies where from my last month's order that I never got a chance to play with, or to make them something.

Mason Jars

My craftiey BF, LEANA made me this cutest pin cushion out of a mason jar filled with lemon drops.  We have been seeing them a lot and thought they where pee your pants cute!!    A couple of weeks ago I hosted a Stampin' up tag party and besides making the cutest tags this was my hostess surprise. 

so of course I needed to make some, I want one in every room in my house, they are so pee your pants cute!
