So we met out hiking families at the "secert" parking spot, which just happens to be in a neighborhood of some not so friendly neighbors who thought it was necessary to come outside and tell us to move our cars or they where going to call the cops. So we did. This meant that we had to go the longer way and steeper way....No biggie, whatever, we good do it. My legs where feeling the burn in about the first two minutes of the hike. We finally came to the bridge and thought it would be the perfect place for a little rest...until poor little Reed got stung by a bee on his finger and on his back, then I got stung on my wrist and then Cameron got stung on in his head, they tryed to get Easton, but we where all quick to get that one off of her. We then pretty much ran the rest of the way up the trail. We had talked to some other people that came up behind us and asked them if they ran into the bee's and sure enough, some of them get stung too. Stupid bee's, as Cameron said!
At least the ducks where happy to see us.
And the kids did have fun playing in the water.
We enjoyed sitting in the sun
