Memorial Day and Making some Progess

Yesterday we took the girls and went to the cemetery to visit Johns dad.

The girls picked some "snow ball flowers" and tulips from our yard to leave for him.

It was so pretty to see all the flowers and flags.

I, we also started working on my ruffles for my lamp shade
and here is the dresser that I promised I would show you a picture of.  I was hoping that I would get  my paint in the mail today, but maybe tomorrow.
I cant wait to paint it!

Happy Weekend!

I Hope you all have a wonderful and fun weekend!
I have big plans to finish up some projects so that I can share them.  I ordered me some chalk paint and I cant wait to get it so that I can paint my dresser that I got off KSL.  I still haven't shown you pictures of it, but I will.  I also started working on my lamp.  And, I have been working on something for a blogger friend for her daughter's wedding and I cant wait to show you, but I need to mail them to her and let her see them before I share.... they are turning out so cute.

I have a lot to do, Wish me luck!

It's been raining for days and days....and it wont stop.  There is no time to play outside, weed my garden, paint my chair or lamp or the dresser that I got from KSL, that I haven't even shown you pictures of.

So instead I will show you some of Easton

Can you see the sun shining thru her hair?  I cant wait to see the sun again.

Garage Sale finds

So my mom and I have always talked about going to garage sales, but we never seem to get up and go.  BUT today was the day and I think we did pretty good.....

Now, I was very unprepared I only had $10 cash with me....  I just wasn't going in with very high expectations of finding something, but I did grab Lillie's wallet.  I know I'm a horrible mother, but I knew she had a butt load if cash.

So check out what we found!

Now remember I only had $10.
The breakdown:
The chair's asking price was $25, I offered $10, but we settled on $15, so my mom gave me the other $5.
The Lamp was $2 and so Lillie bought me that.  (she may or may not know that she bought me a lamp)

My mom also got a headboard for $30, but I didn't get a picture of that.  I'm so pee my pants excited about both items.  I just cant decide where I want to put them so then that means I cant decided on what color to paint them or what fabric I want on the chair.

decisions, decisions......

Easter in Moab

We had a great time in Moab for Easter, it was a tiny bit warmer then last year.

The girls got their Easter boots a little early.

We had some new friends join us on this trip, and we where so excited that they decided to join us.

We went for some hikes

We dyed eggs

this is some serious hotness going on with this girl!
We took some pictures

And then we had our Easter egg hunt in the rain with our jammies and rain boots on!

It was the fasted egg hunt ever!
