Happy Birthday Sklyer!

It's Skyler's birthday today (my niece) and she is turning 7! The lucky little lady got a puppy for her birthday!!


Lillie and I went to Petco and got her a gift card so that she could go and pick something out for her new puppy.

And we made her a cupcake tag to go on her other present.

I used the cricut celebrations cartridge to make the cupcake tag and the puppy tag on the gift card. The paper is basic grey: lemonade.

Another Home Depot project... I made these for a friend.
I went to Home Depot and purchased a fence post (make sure that you try and get one with less cracks or your paper will bubble later on down the road)
after you have picked out the perfect fence post, go an hunt some fine gentleman or woman to cut it down, to the size of blocks that you want.


I sanded my a little just on the edges and I painted two coats of paint, but again, only on the edges. I then mod podge some paper on all sides, added some ribbon, some rolled paper flowers and of course some bling!!

teacher gifts

My Lillie Bugs is done with Preschool in a few weeks and we made these little bird houses for her Teachers.

What little bird wouldn't want to come home to this little house.

I got the bird houses from Roberts, Mod Podge some "my minds eye, quite contrary" paper, added some rolled paper flowers, some bling and little bird punch, from stampin up.

These are my girls, Lillie is 5 and Easton is 18 months.


I made these blocks for their rooms.



I got the wood fence post from Home Depot (and they even cut them up for me) then I mod podge paper on the sides added there pictures and some rolled paper flowers!

I'm addicted.... I LOVE making these pinwheel flowers. I first saw them over on Margie Romney Blog and ever since I have made them for just about everything....

I'm trying to get back into blogging, so I'm starting fresh! I want to start posting everything so that all you peeps out there (Leana) can see what I have been making. So lets start with Mother's Day.

I made the bird house and the boxes for my Mom. She Sews, but I like to craft with paper more, although every once in a while I do pull out my sewing machine. My mom is always telling and asking me to make her stuff, but I do the same to her when I want her to sew me or my girls something.
